Abby Areinoff Harbicht

Abby Areinoff Harbicht specializes in employment law and human resources consulting. She brings over forty years of experience as an employment lawyer and human resources leader to her current practice representing employees.

Abby started her law career at a prominent management law firm followed by decades as Chief Human Resources Officer and in-house employment counsel. She served in that dual capacity for companies in various industries including entertainment, financial services, construction, retail, architectural/engineering services, and for several non-profits. In her corporate positions, she was responsible for all matters related to employee rights and employer responsibilities, providing her with essential knowledge as to the inner workings of organizational compliance and obligations.

Abby applies her extensive prior experience representing management to now protecting the rights of employees, focusing her practice in all areas of employment law including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Abby is an Adjunct Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s School of Business and sits on several boards for non-profit organizations. She is a founding member and Vice President of LASER, an organization that provides safe sheltering for barn animals during emergency evacuations in Yavapai County. When not engaged in her work and volunteer activities, she spends time with her husband, her horses and her grandkids.
